I just hope Jackie never decides to become a sniper--you would have no hope as her target. Hers was an excellent and accurate summary of the options.

Thanks bartipero, I think - LOL. I just believe in being prepared! I don't think I could ever be a sniper but I sure have had a lot of gentlemen shoot their "guns" at (on) me!!
Kisses,
- Jackie

... if you find a store that has them in stock, please post in the thread. Also, you're more likely to find them initially at a Walgreens or CVS, etc., versus a Wal-Mart or other discount retailer - that seems to be fairly common in how new products such as this are released.

I checked 2 Walgreen and 2 CVS locations in KC (NKC and OP) for the new Skyn Large's. No luck. So I ordered a 12-pack of them from Amazon. I love them. Thanks for the tip.

The lady and the gentleman should BOTH come prepared.

LM. Not always feasible for the guy to come "prepared". Again, if you're single, or on the road, then it is only a fiscal issue. But if you're married (and fixed!), the act of buying them, or getting caught in transport, adds needless risk to a venture that's already filled with it. Again, at the end of the day, if the provider doesn't have a cover and expects me to be the one to provide, I will not see them. It's not my job to help supply them with their job aids.

I get it when it comes to the married guy, but it is REALLY that difficult to buy a pack of 3 ON THE WAY to the session and leave the unused 1 or 2 with the provider??

If you need a special condom, I can see that. Otherwise it is not the guy's responsibility.
I don't buy ketchup on my way to get a burger and fries -- unless I like a special kind of ketchup. If the restaurant doesn't have ketchup (and they want me to eat my fries with ketchup), they'd better provide it.
Besides, as was said above, the lady should provide her condoms for her own safety. Guys can mess with condoms in too many ways.

Doesn't matter who brought the condom. A scumbag is a scumbag. He can tamper with HERS. But I digress.
The only thing providers and restuarants have in common is that they require money for services.

I protect myself in my private life and the hobby. That means I bring my gear with me. Now, I assume a lody in the hobby is bringing rubbers, but I have my own because again, I'm responsible for me and I don't take that lightly.

Rambro.
Like I said earlier, if you don't want to compare it to a restaurant, how about other professionals that make roughly the same hourly rate (or LESS!). I don't take my own thermometer, gown, stethoscope, etc to my doctor's office. I don't take my own mouthwash and bib to my dentist. I don't take my own tools, even though I own them, to my mechanics shop.
It's not a matter of how difficult it is to get a package. And, as I said, as a fixed married guy even GETTING one CAN be a problem. And leave 1 or 2 with them? Why? Again. If someone wants to be paid on a professional scale, then they need to act like a professional, which includes having the tools of their trade available to them. If I want to spend time and money running around to grab something like that, then why do I need to hire a professional? I can chase and amateur and save money.
And, to KCQ's point, there was a guy who was rumored to have messed with the condoms to make them break. Obviously I can't prove it either way. And no one would argue that only a scumbag would do that. But that's not the point. The point is, for HER OWN SAFETY, the provider should mostly use her own supply to INSURE that they haven't been tampered with...or that they were sitting in the dude's wallet for the last 5 years in the vain hope of getting a piece before he found hobbying. Even if the intent isn't there to harm, it's still a danger. And, there ARE scumbags around. Why would they risk it.
So, I'm not saying a guy who wants to get them shouldn't. But I AM saying that it's not the guy's responsibility to incur the wasted time and expense to provide supplies to someone who is otherwise well-compensated for their time.

I agree with the idea that condoms are the provider's responsibility, but I have arrived on more than one occasion where she didn't have any available. At that point you have two options: 1) Leave and get condoms or 2) Engage only in activities that do not require them. Neither of these solutions is ideal.
When my dear departed dad was teaching me how to drive a car, he imparted some wisdom: When driving, it is not enough for you to do everything right and proper - you must be prepared and ready to act should the other drivers and pedestrians do the wrong things.
With that in mind, I always carry 3 condoms with me when I go out to hobby.

I have an idea. If someone thinks its a good idea to bring condoms with him, he should. Otherwise, don't.

Sound advice.
Guys without a Plan B get left holding their own.

I had a date with Shae once and I must say she surprised the hell out of me and I love her to this day. I've hated condoms to the point where I have to be uber desperate to venture out. Never have been comfortable with em. So, I can't stand it anymore and I hook up with Shae. We're ready for business and she takes a look and says "we'll need a bigger condom", and reaches into the drawer. Call me stupid but it was a huge difference. I must have been beaming for days. And she's definitely at the top of my list.
