You were not dumb...you were human. You did what most strong humans do, and that was take a chance...at least you are not to the point of being so numb to dismiss something you thought was real. I don't post much anymore! When most of the ladies left I lost interest. When I see hobbiest and provides get into it, I think why do they use all that energy and time. I've got a few provider friends i like to call and talk to, because they do not post anymore!
Why do we have a board like this if we just run the providers off? For me its not just about the exchange of information, which is good to have and I do write reviews. I've made friends on this board and hope to make more, both women and men.Some Drama is expected but for awhile it was nonstop and got old! MY 2 cents

Sometimes Drama is a self fulfilling prophesy. I (along with others) have the unfortunate task of trying to keep the DRAMA between the guard rails.

What's interesting, is that a large part of what many consider DRAMA is attributed (sometimes rightfully so and sometimes unfairly) to a small group of people. What many fail to notice is that those people have greatly reduced their posts recently, but they still are getting credit for the bulk of the DRAMA. How can they be responsible for the DRAMA if they are not posting? I also find it interesting that there is so much hue and cry about DRAMA, but those are the threads with the largest numbers of views and the largest number of posts, so people must have some amount of morbid fascination with DRAMA else the view numbers would not be so high. It seems that DRAMA is like the news. Good news doesn't seem to sell or be interesting, but bad news or something more trajic seems to get all of the attention.

DRAMA is a 2 way street like a debate, argument, or fight. It takes more than one person for it to be relevant. If you really don't enjoy the DRAMA, then ignore those threads and start your own. I am sad that some of the ladies have chosen to stop posting, but it was a choice. They could just as easily chose to bypass the drama threads and post some fun and interesting threads of their own.

This is your community. Each and every one of you has the power to shape it the way you see fit. If others are shaping or steering it in a direction that you don't like, then take control and do something (within the guidelines, of course) to move it in the direction that you would like to see it go. There is room for all to coexist here and have fun (whatever your particular definition of fun happens to be) here without so much DRAMA.
