Default Breaks My Heart

The destruction that has happened to Japan. Seeing the videos is depressing enough, can't imagine what I would do if that was my home.

Not sure what an earthquake and its subsequent results has to do with something the country did 70 years ago.

So based upon the thinking of a couple folks here, because Japan backed Hitler, the earthquake/tsunami/nuclear plant crisis, is Karma's way of saying, "you deserve this to happen?" That's just heartless to say and wrong in more ways than one. Japan didn't back Hitler, Hitler actually pledged that he would join Japan in a war against the US in 1941.

You do realize that there are many Americans and other nationalities over there too right? Did they deserve this?

Do the crimes of someone's ancestor's mean that the people of today should pay for their decisions? If that's true, then the white people should be paying 10 fold for what they did to the Native American Indians.

Reasonable thinking huh?

+1

Without any mean spirited intent. Earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, snow storms, beautiful sunny days, cloudy days, etc.. are all exactly the same, one no better then the other ...I don't believe nature is ever mean/vindictive, happy/generous, it is just nature. So if you live in colder climes don't be surprised it snows, if you live in flood plains don't be surprised it floods, live in a desert don't be surprised water is scarce.

Nature does not concern itself with Karma and retribution. Only the arrogance of man would think he is worthy of nature's karma.
