Lets see where this goes.

Nowhere. Like most of the indictments by the Trump DoJ. Not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed in that bunch.

This tells you all you need to know about the investigative work and the indictments.

Blanche said the investigation remains ongoing and said if allegations are proven to be true, the case is "very troubling."

What a clever scam!

Donate to the SPLC so we can give the money to failing, near-extinct right-wing hate groups like the KKK. The more we prop them up, the more we can portray them as actual threats in our fund-raising letters! It's a circular scam... and it works!

They were once a respected civil rights organization. Those days are long gone. Now they label anyone & everyone who disagrees with their far-left woke agenda a "hate group". Even organizations like The Family Research Council, the Center for Immigration Studies, and Turning Point USA. Everyone whose politics they dislike is the equivalent of the Klan! Think about that. They have transformed themselves into the hate-fueled monster they were founded to slay!

Hmmm... maybe the DOJ should indict them for Charlie Kirk's murder?

Donny appoint a new head of DOJ?

Lets see if they fuck up this "solid" case.

Naaah... it's mine.

But I'm curious to hear your own script, er I mean interpretation, explaining why the Southern Poverty Law Center has been forwarding money intended to fight hate groups to the hate groups themselves.

This is straight up political retaliation. The Trump administration didn’t like it when the SPLC pointed out the right wing ties to Turning Point USA.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/sou...-investigation

In May 2025, the group published an analysis of Turning Point USA as a hate group, calling it a "well-funded, hard-right organization with links to Southern Poverty Law Center-identified hard-right extremists," and adding that its "primary strategy is sowing and exploiting fear that white Christian supremacy is under attack by nefarious actors, including immigrants, the LGBTQ+ community and civil rights activists."

The government has used paid informants all the time. They have even setup a government program to resettle and hide informants. It’s called the witness protection program. Does that mean the government is funding extremism?

considering that you can indict a ham sandwich and the DOJ's track record on politicized indictments,...

Sad deflection attempts from the lefties here. Biden's DOJ opened an investigation into these fraudsters at the SPLC, but mysteriously closed it with ZERO explanation. Because the fraud was so obvious. We can only hope this leads to this hate organization getting a long overdue shutdown

Uhhhh....you do know how informants work, right? Seems kinda not...though your feigned lack of understanding is likely just in support your pre-ordained conclusions here....

ANYWAY....

Hmmm....MY interpretation...okay, sure...why not?

Mine is that....YOURS ain't nuthin but a repeat of Todd Blanche talking points.

The same FUCKING TRUMP SHYSTER SHILL who is currently auditioning for Pam Bondi's old job on a permanent basis.

This whole thing about "propping up" these Right-wing groups is obvious blatant mischaracterization and exaggeration.

Is the SPLC guilty of some criminal misconduct here? They very well may be! Some of these charges about misrepresenting funds and money laundering sound pretty ominous.

So howsabout we let that play out and see where it goes? I'm not going to support them on that if this is true.

Hell, I'm not sure I even support their use of informants. They have kind of lost their mission lately.

But I'm also not gonna believe a FUCKING THING that sell-out Todd Blanche says about their "support" of these groups either. Hopefully his path ultimately leads to that of John Eastman and Rudy Giuliani and their subsequent disbarment after pushing Trump's fucking lies. Bondi too, for that matter.

And THAT...is my interpretation.

You evidently haven't thought this one through.

A political non-profit isn't Law Enforcement. LE must follow strict rules governing the use of informants. It's a slippery slope. Paying an informant creates an incentive that can lead to entrapment. I can go to my FBI handler and say "these guys are ready to commit a serious crime. Pay me more and I'll tell you more." If entrapment is proven, then I would say yes, the government funded extremism.

The SPLC, a political non-profit, had no business using paid informants. If they suspected the KKK or any right-wing group was plotting a crime, they're supposed to alert LE and let them handle it. There is no justification for SPLC to pay informants at the "hate groups" they purport to oppose. What if everyone started doing this? Would you defend Turning Point USA if it was paying "informants" at Black Lives Matter?
