How are egg prices doing?

I haven’t heard anything lately.

I'm paying about the norm on eggs now. 2.00-2.50 generally for large dozen. Avian Flu is a mother fucker when it comes to prices. Hopefully it's one thing that Americans don't have to pay more for unlike all the other expenses associated to CPI and inflation.

How about the Fed saying not only will there likely be no rate decreases, but rather an increase to slow down inflation these last few months. Not a ding on this administration but a reality of how important it is to have an impartial Fed and ppl looking out for everyone, not just one party or POTUS

Cheap eggs are really kinda meaningless when the prices of everything else are skyrocketing.

Is there anything trump can't fuck up?

Figure that a family buys one or two dozen eggs a week...maybe a dollar or 2 per week when high priced or not. Now add the 25 gallons of gas for a family with one car or double with two cars and you just added an extra 50 to 75 dollars a week in costs. Maybe that's 200-350 per month per household...and those are conservative estimates. The costs of this war is ridiculous when you multiply that times 132 million total households in the nation of 4 or more ppl at home .

That's an extra 43,500,000,000 per month in inflation for gasoline per month. 45 plus billion a month due to dumb dumbs decisions. What stupidity

Eggscellent data points.

“US egg prices have plummeted over the last year.

Retail prices dropped from a record $6.23 per dozen in March 2025 to around $2.35–$2.50 in early 2026 — a decline of roughly 60%.
Wholesale prices fell even more dramatically (down over 93% year-over-year).”

“US egg prices have dropped sharply since Trump’s second inauguration (Jan 2025).

Retail prices fell from ~$4.95–$6.49 per dozen in January 2025 (rising to a peak of $6.23 in March) to around $2.50 by early 2026 — a decline of roughly 50–61%.
Wholesale prices crashed even more dramatically (down over 90% from 2025 highs)”

Partially thanks to reduced testing for avian flu.

Thanks for sharing GM

You’re very welcome.

When egg prices were high it was Trumps fault.

When egg prices are currently very, very low tying it back to avian flu gets the credit.

TDS at its finest.

No, you misunderstand. You can thank Trump for the lowered testing standards and us accepting more risk in his efforts to bring down prices. Sadly, he's still got aways to go.

I know thanking him is important to you... so have at it

I didn’t misunderstand at all.

You just misunderstand the self-depths of TDS.

Again, cheap eggs don't mean anything when the price of everything else is skyrocketing.

Thanks, MAGA.
