Default Two weeks cease fire thanks to the superior diplomatic skills of President Donald J. Trump

Guess Iran didn't want to become a radioactive parking lot .

Iran got scared and chickened out like a girl!

Lol. MAGAs are funny with how you interpret your master running his mouth and realizing his threats are hollow. The rest of us knew Trump was just talking out of his ass as usual with his tough guy social media Call of Duty rants. It says a lot when Pakistan helps the U.S. hit the bullshit pause button for a two week extension because our president's stupid ass talked himself into a put up or shut up corner... regardless, Trump made the right call he had to make to save face.

TACO yet again. Iran controls the strait, and has shown the world they can do huge damage to the gloabl economy even with their military battered. That may have been a tabletop theory before, now every country in the world knows it. Somebody told him to take whatever they put out today or he would be removed before the sun comes up tomorrow.

... Too Right, mate! ... as-in-as-much as Iran decided
that they'd better Open the Strait...

... A Two-week ceasefire to work out a good agreement.

President Trump's SUPERIOUR Diplomatic skills surely WON
the day here... Along-with Trumps candour!

... Once again - SUCCESS all the way around! ...

TACO TIME

Wonder if the Miltary told him they wouldn't follow his unlawful orders.

He’s an ignoramus who has blown up the world and its economy to keep from facing the Epstein music.

Plain and simple.

To think otherwise is foolish.

As to the bootlickage in the OP … SNICK!

We won. The Strait is open. Great job Trump.

Before the war
- the Strait was open and ships traversed it for free
- Iran retains its 60% enriched uranium and can keep spinning it up towards 90%
- sanctions on Iran’s oil they were selling at a discount
- Iran had missiles and drones that can strike Israel and their neighbors

After the war
- the Strait is open and Iran charges a fee for ships to traverse it
- Iran had 60% enriched uranium
- sanctions on Iran’s oil is lifted so they sell at market price
- Iran has missiles and drones that can hit thei neighbors and Israel

Goals achieved

Everyone . . .we don't know just what will happen yet. All celebration and/orcondemnation is premature at this point.

If it works out, Trump is a genius. If it all goes to shit today, tomorrow or next week, then Trump is a skunk.

We just don't know yet.

Perhaps this frames the current state of things.

Superior diplomatic skills? Nope
Superior military is the correct reason.

Note that the Israelis are not part of the deal. Opps.

Key issue, once the Tankers that were afraid to run the Straight to get out the Persian Gulf, how many will actually return empty for another load? Their Insurance Companies will have the final say on that.

Last, just because, who remembers the Petroline pipelines across Saudi Arabia?
Their dual pipes are running 5 to 7 million barrels per day to the port of Yanbu where tankers are lined up at the two terminals to take loads to Europe through the Suez or to elsewhere through the Gulf of Aden. Yanbu is currently loading two VLCC's per day and may get up to four.

To conclude:
"War is the continuation of politics by other means" - von Clausewitz from his book published in 1832.

So did we win?

As an aside, I think Iran launched strikes into the Saudi pipeline just today so I think they are gonna try to slow that up.

It appears that the ceasefire agreement is under some strain. Let’s see what Trump’s so called “Superior” diplomacy is able to come up with. Personally I think the chicken is in the White House. Let’s hope that Trump listens to the smarter people in the room next time.

Iran Tightens Its Grip on Hormuz Despite Cease-Fire
Trump demanded opening the strait. Tehran’s Revolutionary Guard is limiting ship traffic and charging tolls

Iran told mediators it would limit the number of ships crossing the Strait of Hormuz to around a dozen a day and charge tolls under the cease-fire struck by President Trump, showing Tehran plans to tighten its grip on the world’s most important energy-shipping lane.

Ships that pass will have to coordinate with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the powerful paramilitary group that has been labeled a terrorist organization by the U.S. and the European Union, Arab mediators said.
