Dear lustylad, Try not to be too obtuse and insulting. First of all I’m not “cheerleading” for anyone. I’m simply pointing out the obvious history of the region and the nature of asymmetric warfare.

I sincerely hope that the world gets out of this conflict with the minimum amount of global economic disruption and the least amount of civilian casualties and infrastructure damage.

But make no mistake, Trump is the one who without any buy-in from anyone dropped us all into the shitter. He’s going to get the credit or the blame however this turns out.

Gas jumping to Biden levels was completely expected, Trump and everyone else knew this. It was a calculated decision, not a fuck up. And he’s not eligible to run for president again so pissing off donors doesn’t matter. We also have no idea how long prices will remain at Biden levels, or what they’ll do when the dust settles. The temporary pain can easily be replaced by oil dropping below where they were a month ago with cooler heads in charge across the region.

It can be both, and his complete lack of an exit strategy tells me it wasn't "calculated" very carefully.

Also, do you honestly believe trump pissing off his mega-donors doesn't matter? Lol. If he wants any chance of not being a lame duck, those donations would certainly come in handy down ballot.

Captain Crazy started a war, bombed a school with a Tomahawk missile strike, and killed at least 175 people doing so many of them children. That’s the topic.

We live in the United States of America and we have Armed, masked, federal troops killing civilians while they are protesting.

In Iran the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is terrorizing their own citizens and killing protesters by the thousands because they are protesting.

Are you saying that we should be more like Iran? Or should we hold the Trump administration accountable for their actions. Because from what I can see no one has been held accountable for the deaths of US Citizens at the hands of ICE and Border Patrol.
