How Hard Is It To Determine Whether We Bombed A School
Trump and his administration as usual start with a easily disprovable lie. It’s like
Instinct for Trump and Trumpys. Does anyone believe Iran has purchased and possesses Tomahawk missiles and that they used those same missiles to bomb a school in Iran?
If you believe that definitely go in the record.
Seems to me we bombed the school in error. Shit happens sadly in war, so why just lie about it, repeatedly, with the dumbest lies that could be told. I know I know, instinct of Trump and his idiots is to lie. At least that dummy Hegseth said it’s under investigation, that’s a far leap from the initial reaction and Trump claiming Iran did it with a Tomahawk. Or as Trump said, a lot of people have Tomahawk missiles.

Every observation from people who are familiar with the forensics of lobbing missiles have stated that it was not an errant, inaccurate hit. There is an order to what was targeted that no mistake in concluding that it was not an accident.
And with the people the missile has been sold to, we are the only one that was bombing that part of Iran.

Let's see what the AI that was used during the Iran attack for "intelligence assessments, target identification, and simulating battle scenarios" has to say (Claude.AI).
Quote:
On February 28, 2026, the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school in Minab, Hormozgan province in southern Iran, was destroyed during the school day, being struck by three missiles. Wikipedia
UN experts reported that at least 165 schoolgirls and staff were killed and many others injured. The victims were mainly girls aged between 7 and 12, and large parts of the school building were destroyed while classes were underway. OHCHR
Who was responsible?
The US military was likely responsible for the strike, according to CNN and expert analysis of satellite imagery, geolocated videos, public statements from US officials, and the assessment of munitions experts. The school appears to have been hit at around the same time as an attack that American forces likely carried out on a neighboring IRGC naval base. CNN
New video footage shows a munition consistent with an American BGM/UGM-109 Tomahawk Land Attack Missile striking a location inside the IRGC base, with a large plume of smoke visible from the direction of the school. Only the US Navy, not Israel, operates Tomahawk missiles, launching them from surface ships and submarines, according to experts. CNN
Official responses:
US military investigators believe it is likely that American forces were responsible, but have not yet reached a final conclusion. The Pentagon referred questions to CENTCOM, which said it would be "inappropriate to comment given the incident is under investigation." The Times of Israel
President Trump claimed without evidence that the strike was "done by Iran." Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth evaded questions and said the US was "investigating" and would "never target civilian targets." Wikipedia
International reaction:
Human Rights Watch called the attack unlawful and said it should be investigated as a war crime, noting that the laws of war prohibit attacks where anticipated civilian harm is disproportionate to expected military gain. Human Rights Watch
This is an ongoing and deeply tragic situation, with investigations still underway as of early March 2026.

people complain too much
in war there will be casualties including collateral damage and casualties
think of all the millions of civilian casualties in past wars going back to when human race discovered war
they didn't complain then

As I understand it the building that the girls school occupied was at one point in time part of the same compound as the irgc naval base. Then at a later date a wall was constructed between the building the school occupied and the rest of the base.
It would be my hypothesis that the tomahawk missile was programmed with its targeting information using an out of date satellite image or it was assumed that even though there was a wall between the two sites it was still part of the same installation.
A mistake for sure but not a deliberate targeting of civilians.
Unfortunately the Trump administration’s knee jerk response to lie whenever they deem it necessary just makes the situation seem deliberate rather than accidental.

Pretty cold comment about civilians dying in wars. And people certainly did protest…most recently think of the Vietnam War protests. Tens of thousands of people came out for years protesting that idiotic war, just as people are protesting this stupidity in Iran.

It was our missile.
It wasn't intentional. But we are responsible.
Everyone knows it.
Hegseth just doesn't have the moral clarity or the fucking balls to admit it.

I don't think the US did it but we're being blamed for it. I think Israel bombed the children's school on purpose. If they'll starve and kill kids in Gaza ya'll get the idea.

We'll see what Kegseth says now that the initial report is out that confirms we did it.

We all know the initial response from Trump and Trumpys is to lie. Then they lie about having lied. Then they try to tell the media don’t report their lies. Then idiots on sites like this deny that Trump lies, they call it exaggerations or hyperbole or some other euphemism.
Trump lies over and over and over. If you can’t accept that you’re a fool.

How can they complain? Dead men tell no tales.
It is up to those who question why innocent people died.

More and more evidence definitely show that it was our missile. And a big piece of news came out today (though it was known prior to this. And by somebody at the heart of it.)

Gotta put personal beliefs on a back burner. The '*I* don't think' especially so. Good ol' National Palestinian Radio put out a nice bit of fact. The department/group/committee/whatever the name who vets targets so as incidents like this one don't occur, had it budget cut. And that cutback happened when the new SofD came in. And it was the SofD who cut that budget. And we all know who that is: Petey.

Let's see what the defense secretary has to say about him slashing funds to the people who are suppose to go over the targets to be bombed.
This sets squarely on peteys shoulders.

BINGO! Now who's the idiot in charge of the group that should verify information about targeting? Oh, that would be the drunken Faux news guy again. Surprised he didn't send it to the IRCG on a group chat.

Do they? So you ignore the advances from the catapult, to carpet bombing, to the US being about to put a bomb down a fucking smoke stack accurately. As is stated later in this thread, if it plays out that way, this is paramount to a war crime on ol Kegseth. Flip that around and say a foreign country used multiple PRECISION Tomahawk type munition to kill YOUR granddaughters, and your neighbors granddaughters...and then told you that you complain to much about it. Get the picture?

Wouldn't be his first crime using the military.
Alot of families looking for their fishermen bread winners who went out with their boats and never returned of late. But that's another thread.
