Auto insurance? I currently pay 304.00 a month for two vehicles, full coverage and one is new, three months old actually.

Insurance companies have access to Car Fax and other car title reports. So if you have a state inspection, that is reported on title. If you take your car in for an oil change, that is recorded on title.
You might get away with it for awhile, but eventually they will get you for the miles driven, when the app does not match the odometer reading by a service center.

If tiger woods rolls over his genesis in the forest and no one is around to see it, does it count as an accident on his insurance record?
Hell yeah! His iPhone reported the crash as it happened as did the onboard Genesis telemetry.
Heck they know when your semen erupts - there’s an app for that, right next to the Flo app in the App Store or Google Play.

When on the freeway, a route I use frequently takes me on the south beltway around 288 & is not as crowded. I am almost always with a pack on I-10 or 59.

I agree. My decision to sign up was very impulsive. Since the policy started on the 3rd, I've actually felt slightly uncomfortable when driving.

My breaking is okay. I'm always cognizant of that, but I'm confident my insurance would/will think my take offs
are atrocious.

Do you remember what the discount was?

Question about that: Assuming one has a loan on their car, would you need track insurance or would a regular full-coverage policy be sufficient?

It sounds like it worked-out great for him, however, I don't think would apply here since the app must be running when you are driving. It actually pops up under my alerts as soon as I start driving.

This is great advice; I already have another phone I could transfer the app too. I guess I would need to fully remove the app from my current phone to ensure it is not still supplying data to them.
My only worry would be if I drove - let's say 10k - with the "real" phone & only 2k with the "fake" phone & get in a wreck, do you think they would be so thorough if I got in accident & they know I had 25k miles when I signed up, but now my car has 37k miles, but they only have 2k worth of data on my driving - do you think they would look into that & possibly deny my claim?

I drive a V8 convertible. When I switched from a hardtop to a convertible the premium went up about $200. It's really unfair because in my entire life I have never been in an accident. No DUI or unmentionable charges & all of my tickets are 5 + years old. I do get stopped once or twice a year, but the officer never shows up to court so they are dismissed & don't get added to my record.

The policy has already started so at this point I am just going to wait until I get my 1st or 2nd bill & see what happens.
I wish there was a way that I could look on the app & see how they are starting to conclude the data. But after having this policy for a little over a week now & really thinking about my speed when driving (mostly on the freeway) & how hard I take off at lights. I just don't see how this could benefit me.
I really wish I would have given it some more thought before signing up so quickly. I guess I'll find out in the coming months.

I do not remember the exact amount of the discount, it was a couple of years ago, but it was nothing earth shattering. Maybe a discount of $30 a month at most.
I found another company willing to give me a similar rate as the discount without having to do the app, so I switched. And also Progressive can eat a bag of dicks for being jerks.
