I don't think AOC could beat J.D. Vance in the electoral college. I do think Gavin Newsom, Gov Josh Shapiro or Gov Wes Moore could. I hope it's one of those three that gets the democratic nomination. I would rather see AOC become speaker of the house.

I think she’s going for the Senate, and take Schumers seat, and try for Senate Majority leader.

I think Andy Beshear or Josh Shapiro will be the Dem ‘28 nominee.

But, I do think she’ will run down the road. And win.

I always love to see that the only consistent argument against her is “she’s an idiot”, with no knowledge or logic applied.

The word salad response about her is nonsense, because every politician barfs up word salads….

You may not like her positions, and that’s fine. But to say she is an idiot with no substantial reason is short sighted. AOC will be around in politics for years, I betcha.

As far as the opinion that a woman should never be President, well, that is just misogyny at its finest…a person who deep down is terrified by and hates women.

Nonsense. Many people pointed out that her answer to the Taiwan question at the Munich conference was stunningly inadequate. Her rambling non-reply demonstrated she had "no knowledge or logic" to apply to a pressing foreign policy issue. Get yerself a subscription to Foreign Affairs magazine. Almost every issue contains well-thought-out & well-written analyses of how the US should best "handle" the Taiwan situation and deter Xi.

I would have cut AOC a little more slack if she had just uttered two words - "strategic ambiguity" - in her rambling, word salad non-answer.

It's part of my news service, and I check it out sometimes. I will look for their Taiwan spiel. But regardless, I think criticizing AOC for this is going a bit deep, considering she has NOT really been discussed seriously for higher-level office. If/when she starts moving that way...sure. She needs to prepare better and be on her game. But whattaya think IDIOTS like Tommy Tuberville or Lauren Boebert have to say about Taiwan? They couldn't find it on a map of....Taiwan.
