I don't know how I missed out on GGT. Perhaps because in those days, I was working in Dallas. I was flying back to Dallas Love frequently on Fridays, and I suppose it was easier to schedule appointments in Dallas and attribute any delayed arrivals home to "delayed flights." It sounds like I would have gone broke at that place. I still think, "Damn," as I pass by where that place used to be.

NVA was pretty good, but it was a weird setup. The owner must have been an importer of crappy art and nicknacks, and that was the cover for this place. Buy an acrylic painting and get your rocks off in one convenient setting.

I don’t think they had set hours (maybe by appointment only? I can’t remember), which made this not the best place to drop in when you had the urge.

I honestly don’t remember any of the women there, although I think a few migrated over to OverExposed Studio when that placed opened. I really don’t have any recollections about sessions at NVA, but I seemed to enjoy it enough that I was willing to come back until something better came along down the street. And of course, one of the all time best studios opened up in that same space once NVA finally gave up trying to compete with much better run establishments beginning in the oughts.

I actually used to work security for this type of place in Austin around 2000-2001. The place was called Lingerie Dreams. There were 3 locations around town. The front of the store was set-up like a basic lingerie shop, there were rooms in the back with couches and black lights. Guys would pay the house fee to go into the rooms with the girls, once the music came on it was basically a private strip show with the guy jacking himself off to finish.
