I think for the first time I was not offered "indiscretions" solely because of my age. I try to find ads that include the word "mature" but not all are informative. I am not young so I can sorta understand but curious what others think.

You mean you were denied an appointment due to age? Like the provider throught you might go to pound town for too long or something?

I’m waiting for that to happen to me. I’m half way between the “old enough to be her dad” and the “old enough to be her grandpa” stage of hobby life, which immediately follows the much more fun “old enough to he her big brother” era. So far, no outright turndowns, but an increasing number of younger women who I felt didn’t give me their best because that was in the back of their mind.

I’m guessing you are in or approaching the grandpa stage? That is when I expect to be completely out of the under 30 market and probably looking for fit younger cougars (which thankfully are much more plentiful than when I was a young man).

I usually look for the "cougar" "mature" adjectives but was intrigued so I expanded my paramotors just a bit. I don't have any grand kids but guess I'm in that zone of life.

There was a well-known hobbyist in the ASPD and early-ECCIE days named chipper who had as a rule (he may have even had it in his sig line) that he stopped dating women younger than 30 when his kids got to be that age. He had to be around 70 when I met him at a social years ago, and he hadn’t changed that de minimus even after he retired (from work, not the hobby).

I try to stick to that age limit myself nowadays, although on occasion someone like Eliseblest comes along and has me breaking chipper’s rule (again).

In this industry, I’ve been with women of the ages of 20 years old up to 63 years old. The age was not a problem, but I do have a cut off around 65 years old and old. Also, I look at how well a woman has taken care of herself and if there’s a connection (if I repeat to see her again).

I would like to add that there are many providers that will not see a gentleman under the age of 30 or 35. In addition, providers like older men based on maturity and finances, too.
