I call it a fractured recession.
Certain industries are having a tough time.
Numerous other industries are barely treading water.

Perhaps "muted K shape" as the top end is barely doing ok.
I use the phrase "fractured" as that allows more variations.

The third year of an expansion is positive 90% of the time with stocks. The AI optimism and expansion is fueling the companies doing well. The rest? Meh

Semiconductors are always cyclical applies to AI too

There will always be a catastrophic event every half decade two decade. We are six years out from Covid. If you don’t think these are money driven, you’re fucking retarded.

Supply and Demand law I learned in economics class.

When Demand goes up, Supply goes down and Prices go up.

When Demand goes down, Supply goes up and Prices goes down.

So the prices of strippers and hookers should be going down which also result in an increase of us guys going down on them.

With that said, it’s starting to seem like the govt is managing prices to avoid recession. Tariffs>inflationary, immigration focus>inflationary… but we aren’t really seeing much higher inflation. Perhaps we would be seeing deflation now as we continue to move away from the post-covid price run up. Since deflation is ‘very recessionary’, is the govt trying to prop up prices to minimize deflation?
