In LP (the lesser city - hobby-wise) you're probably better off on Tinder or Seeking and be ready to speak Spanish because this is really a non-English country. So, even in Santa Cruz, things aren't that great. Although SC is the #1 economic city in Bolivia, it is only #34 in South America. Of course, Brazil has the #1 and #3 cities and Buenos Aires is #2. My point, is as "fancy" as SC is, at best, it's a stop-over territory. Bolivia has been a semi-hostile neighbor for the last 20 years and there's a reason all the bi-oceanic trains in South America go around Bolivia. Plus, it's currency is the least desirable in South America.
High-end ladies don't live here, don't work here and probably never tour here (maybe unless they're on the run from something). IF YOU SEE POLISHED PHOTOS - THEY ARE FAKE. Most of the real(er) ads are BP style butt hole at camera or awkward selfies. Use the links below and it'll help you get a handle on what's real and prevent you from chasing a B&S.
It's not to say that high quality isn't here; it's just that the 1st World level of polish and GFE service isn't understood or taught. The best I've gotten here are a couple of non-pros I got off of Tinder (which is also full of obvious working ladies).

CHANGING MONEY:
Bring cash and
make sure the edges of your dollars are not torn even a little or 100% they will be rejected. Change cash in the street to get the "blue rate" which is above the 6.96 government peg. Right now it's 9.5 on the street, which is a nice discount on services. Electronic payments via QR are fairly common now too. Try not to change your money at the Panama airport or the LPB/VVI airports. Those always give the worst exchange rates. Panama once offered me 4.5. LPB/VVI you'll get 6.96, which is giving away almost 50% on the street cambio.
AND - BTW, the street cambio area in SC looks funky but is actually quite safe because they all look out for each other and any robber/etc would literally be beaten to death on the spot. They all know each other and it's a very tight-knit community.
