Also consider buying your oil and filter online. You can save some bucks getting your Mobil 1 online versus some shop.

Then you don’t know much about cars. Most vehicle these days their computers tell them the life left on their oil life. German vehicles are very well built vehicles.

I’ve been doing my own brake jobs since I was like 21, am 69 now. Not hard if you have ANY mechanical knowledge. Specially these days with google out there. Will show you step by step instructions.

oh how cute, someone is in the mood for a pissing contest about German Shyt.
I'm going to bring in the pro certified mechanics opinions & the disgruntled owners, since they are qualified. Let the fun begin>(Bitches=German vehicles)

I have to agree !! And if you drive a German car you know from the get go the repairs are going to cost more , so if you can't afford repairs don't get a German car!

I remember clearly, you telling me
that using a family members Lexus mostly
was more convenient.
Or someone can't afford to drive that German crap.
Your German car must not
be that adored when you keep grabbing the
Toyota= Lexus has Toyota motor.

No European vehicle is ever purchased for ease and cost of maintenance!

Only time I drove a Lexus was to keep the Battery good, for my brother when he was under Medical Care and could not drive his car and had to take him to his Dr. Appt, he over 6ft tall and fits in his SUV better then my sport's car..
But that was over 2-3 years ago..

I have 44k mils on my German Car drive it every day and will take it over any TOY car!

I'm enjoying my American made SUV currently. I like that I can receive a tax credit on it.
Maintenance is more reasonable too.
You can't go wrong with a Toyota though.

Have owned American vehicles all but one Mitsubishi Mighty Max truck back in the 80's

Nothing against foreign cars but I like the size of full sized American vehicles. Currently I drive a 2012 F-150 truck I inherited from my late father that has not topped 80k in mileage.

Only thing about my oil changes (I do them myself) is truck holds 7.7 quarts as it has a tow package which means it has an oil cooler as well as a transmission cooler so when I buy oil I get 8 quarts (yes it holds it all and 3/10's of a quart more won't hurt it)

Toyotas are hard to beat, take care of them & 500k of miles is not unheard off.
