The alleged assassin, who's name is VANCE BOELTER was captured alive and has been charged.
Boelter, in a bizarre statement, mentions nothing about shooting five people that night (the Hortmans died, the Hoffmans and their daughter survived) but implicated GOVERNOR WALZ in a scheme to assassinate MN Senator Amy Klobuchar about a year earlier, which Boelter said he refused to participate.
