they voted to implement the trump plan. That's not him in charge, but his 20 point plan to try to create peace in GAZA. It offers very little in the way of any real peace as we've already seen that israel is ready to get back into the fight with the remains of dead israelis' being the reason to re-ignite a tinder box. This is a fools errand to even think that GAZA will look any different in 10 yrs than it does right now. It would cost 200 billion or more to even get it back to the original shit hole that it was- and you'd still have bickering and fighting from the palestinians and rockets and more going on.

What the US doesn't need is more of that drain when we cannot even put food on our own tables, or healthcare for citizens. Why should we spend one more dime on that baloney- it's foolish. If the 1.4 trillionaire family of the Saudi's want to fund it- that's fine- BUT we should only be there to feed ppl, not to rebuild the bullshit that was blown the fuck up by bombs we supplied to the Israeli's. THat's on them and the rest of the middle east to do- Trump will be long gone before any of this ever gets off the ground, and him under.

First of all I think the naming of the transitional gaza government “World Peace” is pretty damn stupid.

Secondly Trump named himself to head the board overseeing the rebuilding of Gaza.

Thirdly, It’s too soon to tell how much of Trump’s role is real or figurehead. Trump puts his name on all kinds of boards but that doesn’t mean he actually does any of the actual work.

All that being said let’s all hope that the UN and US backed plan actually succeeds. Peace in the region requires stability across all the major parties involved.
