Obviously Trump believes in some of the polls.

After his ass whooping on Election Day and all the talk about "affordability," none from him btw, he's knee jerking to try and save his disaster of an administration

Not gonna do it

Gee... I wonder who made them too high to begin with?

Classic trump: create a problem where there is none. Then pound your chest and wave the flag when you swoop back in to "fix" the problem that you created.

Unfortunately for the United States of America, this bullshit keeps working on tens of millions of morons who think he actually fixes these problems.

Oh, but he's not fixing it. He's tossing a shovel of dirt onto a dam that's sprung a leak and thinking that will solve the affordability problem.

When someone tosses extra tariffs on things we can't make or can't grow here and pretends its a good thing, you can tell he doesn't see the other affordability problems he's exacerbating either.

His voters are the real problem. They actually believe that a moron who, after he bankrupted his 5th casino said "hey, let's open a 6th", is some great businessman.

The stupidity of MAGA is why we're here now.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/tru...bo-2025-11-20/

Latest estimates shaved $1 trillion off of expected long-term tariff revenues

Meanwhile, we can see that imports plummeted 5.1% in Aug

Hmmm, seems we haven't seen that boom of manufacturing job from the tariffs yet.

As of August 2025, there were 409,000 manufacturing job openings, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

^^^ The jobs are available and plentiful. The skilled applicants aren't.

Would you hire a 4-year liberal arts/gender studies major to operate heavy machinery or run a factory?

That would depend on their experience. I might be perfectly willing to hire them if they have the right experience in lieu of education for the job requirements. Any of them vets?

Guess Tariffman should have thought about this

He did.

Why do you think he is pressuring our institutions of higher education to get rid of all the worthless woke indoctrination classes that make their graduates unemployable?

Didn't, or he would have picked his spot better and put the star into the star hole when he started implementing the tariffs.

He needs more years than he has left in his term to implement this changeable we already see the folks are souring on his economy and aren't buying his tariff claims.
