Johnson is the Speaker of the House. He never made a deal with Senate Democrats. He had nothing to do with it. They can debate it in the Senate but the House doesn’t have to vote on it. Take a Civics lesson.

Healthcare premiums are already going up, thanks to Republicans NOT having any healthcare plan of their own. Republicans control all 3 branches. They are the ones in charge of fixing the system. Duh.

That makes zero sense. Back in 2010, the Democrats used reconciliation to slam through the Affordable Care Act without ANY Republican input or votes.

The fact that the ACA was such a misconceived piece of garbage that it caused healthcare costs and insurance premiums to EXPLODE instead of making them more "affordable" has nothing to do with Republicans.

So, all MAGA has to do is issue their own healthcare plan, vote on it and sign it into law.

I know it's hard to remember these days, given that MAGA is currently skull-fucking all 3 branches, but THAT'S HOW GOVERNMENT WORKS.

This isn't even the first time they've had total control of government since the ACA was passed. They can't legislate their way out of a wet paper bag. They have no ideas, no plans... not even "concepts of plans".

He keeps whining about the need to "fix" the ACA. Which means he acknowledges it is broken. And the fact that he is begging Republicans to "issue their own healthcare plan" - rather than putting bandaids on the ACA - is an acknowledgement that not only is Obamacare broken, but it's BROKEN BEYOND REPAIR.
