A THC ban was added to the government shutdown bill by a number of conservative senators. Twats the whole lot of them.

The THC ban was included in the government shutdown bill as part of a legislative package negotiated by the U.S. Senate. Key proponents of the ban include Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell, who has been a strong advocate for closing what he sees as a loophole in the 2018 Farm Bill that allowed the sale of intoxicating THC products.

Senator Rand Paul also played a role by attempting to remove the THC language from the bill, but ultimately, the provision remained. The ban has garnered support from various lawmakers and organizations concerned about the unregulated sale of hemp-derived THC products.

True twats. Fuck. You can even buy the drinks at Winn Dixie here.

It ends up that issue has been a huge political clusterfuck for a few years now. And opportunistic fucks took advantage.

It doesn't take effect for a year. Supposedly, that is to give Congress time to craft actual "regulations" and allow for it to be sold in a more controlled way. Yeah, right.

Not a fan of it at the Federal level. State level I'm more OK with. I don't give a flip if Rhode Island wants to keep their population in a "controlled" state or stupor.

Start a new thread about this, if the staff lets you.

And then let’s talk about controlling the population … irony.

Of course. See my statements of Party of No and one sided legislation.

I will be so happy to see the busy beaver republicans hand in a bipartisan bill to replace the ACA by february.
Everyone will be happy than.

Of course you want Republicans to fix what YOUR side broke. As usual. Trump has done things that he can do to make things better, but of course you ignore those. If the ACA was so "affordable" (remember you'll "save $2500 a year per your Dear Leader Obama), then why does anybody need subsidies? At least Trump has made it so HSAs (tax free dollars) can be used to help pay premiums. As well as making the catastrophic plans that Obama tried to kill available on the exchanges for young healthy people. So steps have been taken. Now if Dems would just stop obstructing and threatening shutdowns...

Holy mole.

Trump has made health care more affordable by letting you save your money for it? What universe do you live in?

As for Obama killing catastrophic plans - that's bullshit.

Sounds like you've got some remaining angst in the tangst over our last great president. Sure haven't heard any of those rants in a while.

Sounds like you're arguing in your spare time...

Well, if there is one side making the law, then which side does one blame for bad legislation?

Go ahead. You can tell us. We already know...

I’d be willing to bet that a number of people here who are criticizing the ACA either don’t use it, or are already on Medicare. America’s Socialist Medical Plan..
