Just say you have no earthly idea of the difference, without saying you have no earthly idea.

The citizens (are they really?) demanded to take that authority away from their government some time ago, based on past cause.
Texans have not seen a need to do so.

Wrong. As usual. You’re just making stuff up.

The people of CA by a 2 to 1 margin agreed to a redraw of the CA congressional map.

The people of TX had no say at all in the TX legislatures decision to redraw the TX map.

I always thought litigators spent most of their time researching. Guess not. So far the peasants have "temporarily allowed" Big Daddy to draw the map.

California Citizens Redistricting Commission (CCRC)
...The commission previously drew the boundaries for California's US congressional House of representative districts, but since the passage of Proposition 50 in 2025, that authority was transferred to the California General Assembly...
Another summary of Prop 50:
Quote:
...The measure allows California to temporarily adopt legislatively drawn congressional maps from 2026 through 2030, overriding the independent California Citizens Redistricting Commission...
So in actuality, big daddy gubmint, wrested control of redistricting from the citizenry, back in house, because Texas Man Bad.

Ain't Socialism grand? NYC is gonna luv it.

Anyone else wonder why they even had a California Citizens Redistricting Commission (CCRC) in the first place?
Learning history could be a thing again. Maybe not.

Is there a point in there anywhere WYID? Seems like a lot of rage posting.

So please tell us how New York has fallen to “socialism.” What city services and programs are going to be ripped from the hands of the poor unwitting people of NYC?

I’m curious because the ECCIE MAGAs have ranted about this for weeks yet outside of one or two city-owned grocery stores, it sure seems like most city services are already socialized.

Before you start screaming about rent controlled housing in Manhattan, do some reading up.

Otherwise, get a heavy duty umbrella to protect you from that falling sky.

Regarding California, I’ll bed you’d know about that commission if you knew how laws are passed in California. You obviously don’t. But at least you managed to drop an R bomb.

Never disappoint., bro! LOL!
