Chicas Bonitas - Wow
Stopped by Chicas Bonitas post the ICE raid to check it out.
Weekday about 9:30pm.
First thing I noticed was how bright it was inside. Not as dark as it used to be.
About 15 girls working. And one sappy lone sappy looking dude with a bucket of beers. And me, an old tall white guy. And that was it. Completely dead. No other customers. I've never seen it like this.
Sat down and the girls were on me fast. Got a dance from a girl not my type for the hell of it. The usher dude stayed right outside the VIP and even came into VIP to make sure my dancer wasn't out of line.
Had one dance and went back to the floor. Four Indian guys came in and the girls were on them fast. Think I realized at this point not one latinix customer was on there.
Another girl came up, my type, wanted a dance. I went the negotiation route and asked what goes on in VIP and she just walked away. Another girl hit me up, good looking. Said yes to a dance. She pulled the, I'm not going to tell this guy how many songs have gone by thing but I was counting. And yes the VIP usher guy or whatever came and checked on us. Cut it at three dances and left.
Sad. Used to be able to go on there, the club would be hoping and girls were fun to be with and play with. Doesn't seem like it anymore.
Don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

I haven't verified day shift vibe this week, but there was a period of time recently when night shift was plagued by aggressive box troll (with flashlight) but day shift could be fun.

Wow this kills any reason to go to CB, part of the appeal was that almost every girl was down to play and that the box was relatively unchecked

No doubt. I can remember Annette Strauss trying to clean up Harry Hines in the early 90’s. It came and went, obviously. But, during the effort a lot of good guys looking for a lil somethin picked up a record that they had to wear for their life. And then it was a misdemeanor.

I agree that part does suck! Just need to think with your big head and not your little head. Do your home work and if it feels off, learn to walk away!

they are super paranoid right now, I'm a 40 year old clean cut white guy and nobody would even talk to me. Finally one girl came over and using google translator told me they all thought i was a cop and were super scared.

Been back several times since the raid. The manager shook my hand, thanked me for coming in, and I had the absolute opposite experience of this post.
No managers came into the box, dancers did their usual "Hey baby" with grab and grope (lol) and couldn't see shit for 5 minutes after coming in from the bright sun! lol
The girls seemed a little more hungry and "negotiable" with the decrease in traffic....
I must not look like a cop!

This thread includes references to two of the "Chicas" clubs... Bonitas and Locas-Arlington.
In BOTH of those recent news-incidents, the people arrested were reportedly accused of [the T-word]. We all oppose [the T-word], so maybe these were potential improvements for the dancers and thus for the patrons.
This post is speculation, and no opinion expressed in this post should be considered political; it's just one poster guessing about what MAY have transpired, and how that MIGHT affect the clubs and future visits. I have no special information, and might be completely wrong in my guessing.
