It's aging just fine, Lusty. They've missed out on a pile of sales and given up a lot of market share and have continued to do so in key markets.

As Bam pointed out, Tesla isn't just a car company but this is all about car sales. Now that the incentives are gone will they win Oct?

Tesla sales in the broader European region were 39,837 vehicles, down 10.5%.

The drop came despite broader gains for electric cars in September. All-electric vehicle sales rose 20% from a year ago in the EU to 167,586 vehicles. Sales in the broader region rose 21.9% to 260,256 vehicles.

Tesla is facing more competition in Europe. BYD’s EU sales in September were 13,221 vehicles, up 272% from a year earlier. Its European sales were 24,963 vehicles, up almost 400% year over year.

And that's despite leading in Europe in Sept

Sales are down double digits and are a headwind, not a tailwind. Have been.

Until that reverses for multiple quarters the only place the logic is struggling is in your mind and its mostly Elmo's fault.

Look at Mr Gristle trying to save face. Porsche’s profits are down 99% because of their EV strategy. Stelantis is on the ropes for the same reason. They forsaken the Hemi for EVs. Well, turns out the USA wants Hemi’s. They brought them back. Go woke, go broke. EV competitors will fall by the wayside but Tesla will stick to its roots. They will dominate the EV space once again. Just not on Gristles petulant 2 week standard. Which is idiotic.
