Ingrassia - Trump still allows racists to work in the White House
Unshockingly, the White House. As allowed someone that recently was a controversial racist to continue working in the White House. I thought republicans were against that kinda behavior and “punish” those folks by firing them. Maybe Trump likes racists. Or they are ok with him. Maybe the Republican Party just is ok with racism.

A relative of mine, they were born in 1923 and they were drafted right after Pearl Harbor was attacked. This late relative of mine, he was stationed at the border of France/Germany.
My late relative, he was not a very political minded person. I say that because I am just trying to describe him, he was a young man at the time who did not hold very strong political beliefs, one side of the other.
He told me that his platoon marched ( sorry, I do not recall which camp this was, he told me this long ago )...Anyway, he told me that it was very obvious that there was a very strong, distinct odor of death in the air. He said specifically, that "It was obvious to anyone who lived in this area, that people were killed. The stench was very strong."
It is unpleasant enough that we have animal shelters where domestic animals are euthanized. In this case, it is done because there are simply too many stray animals, to allow them to roam free is poses a danger to the community. The idea that human beings are euthanized while held captive inside a camp, to justify euthanizing human beings based on their ethnicity/race/creed/religion/etc... is very dangerous because it places them in the same peril as an animal, and it cannot be tolerated by the rest of the population.
I'm sorry, I know I am all over the place, but I am extremely concerned by the rise of Alt Right Christian White Nationalism. I understand that we have a plethora of human rights abuses currently happening, I am not excusing it. I am just really puzzled and concerned by the lack of understanding about the truth of what happened to human beings, because those like my late relative who witnessed some of it, these people and their memories, are now lost to history.
I do not want that history to be repeated.

An elderly woman in Lyon, France, ( about the same age as my late relative ) She is probably no longer alive now, but she rented rooms to foreign students who studied in Lyon.
Another relative of mine, he rented a room from her. Her place was a very old chateau, built in the earliest 1700's. The reason why it was still her chateau, was because the Occupation decided to seize the place next door, so her family was able to keep it. She was born there and lived there all her life. She was very old/elderly when she told my relative about what happened to her during the occupation.
She told my relative that she was a young teenager, it was daytime and she was riding her bicycle home. She was within sight of her front door when she was suddenly stopped by a very young Gestapo, he ordered her to stop because she was riding too fast and he demanded to see her paperwork. She told my relative how frightened she was, she was visibly shaking as she stared at her front door while she reached for her identification. She began to fear that she would be seized, and that her family would have no idea what happened to her. Instead, the gestapo threw his head back laughing at her, he seemed to think it was so damn funny that she was so terrified. She rode for her life to that front door.
She told my relative that she never told her father, because her father was a surgeon who was forced to work for the occupation, and she feared that he would be so furious, that he would confront the gestapo and get arrested. She told my relative that everyone in Lyon was ordered to hand over all the meat to the occupation, that she and her family and everyone they knew, they only ate bread and vegetables the entire occupation. She also told him that there were tunnels underground, that she heard people screaming from these tunnels, all night long.
She also told my relative that she hated the entire German population for the rest of her life afterwards, that she refused to forgive or forget. She said that only recently, did she finally understand that most Germans were not like that, and she decided she would stop judging the entire country of people.
When I have posted about this in the past online, I was very surprised by responses from people who claimed that the occupiers and gestapo was somehow 'nice' and not mean to the people of Lyon. I am grateful that I have learned historical fact from an account of someone who was actually there and lived it. There was nothing 'nice' about it. No matter who your relative was, or what you may want to think about them if they were there as an occupier or gestapo. Nobody was being nice. Just like the obvious smell of death in a town where a concentration camp was located.
Hitler was not nice. Genocide is not nice.

Sorry about that. But uhmmmm...
While I am deeply grateful to those that rose to the call, back in the day, the frick'n word "white" has no rational place in your post. Personally, I have no room for racists any more than I have room for people that toss that moniker around so carelessly.

As a side note: That whole Hitler schtick didn't work on November 5, 2024.
As such: Why would it work now?!?

Why? Do you live in Boone County WV? They hold their national gathering in Jeb’s trailer this year but otherwise not much to get excited about.
