This trip I have found time to finally explore Omaha. I am wondering what are some recommendations of must see places around town. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I second the zoo. Top in the nation. Some people say it bests the San Diego zoo.

Old market, especially around the ball park.

Joslyn Art Museum.

Mahoney State Park - there's an overlook tower

Benson is good for bar hopping, if you're into that.

Live music venues galore in downtown and Benson.

If you're a foodie, name some cuisines and someone can come up with suggestions.
