LOL.... if you are depending on the govt. to feed your family, you shouldn't be allowed to vote.... you are a dependent of your fellow taxpayers.

Awww. so naive. A large % won't get jobs... they will simply steal. And the cops have been instructed in the blu shitholes not to arrest shop lifting... heh.. there's a lot of street unrest coming if the democrat leadership doesn't back down on funding illegals healthcare at the state level with medicaid offsets.
But they want that anyway. Chaos is how the revolution moves forward.
I think they are in for a surprise though.. as there are now counter revolutionaries controlling the govt. for the moment.

SNAP Junk Food Ban 2025: EBT Soda, Candy & Snack Restrictions Explained
August 20, 2025
The SNAP Junk Food Ban 2025 has officially taken effect — and food stamp users are losing it online. With the new SNAP rules, EBT beneficeries can no longer buy soda, candy, Twinkies, or other sugary snacks by using their SNAP benefits. TikTok, Twitter, and Facebook are flooded with intense reactions as Americans discussion whether this move is a step toward healthier societies or an prejudiced restriction on low-income households...

how about cash?
in some states, SNAP recipients are also allowed to get TANF (Temporary Assistance Needy Families) which provides cash for basic needs like housing, utilities, and clothing.
The cash can be withdrawn using the same EBT card that the SNAP is on just like a regular ATM card.
That needs to stop too because I am sure not every dollar of that cash assistance is used for housing, utilities and clothing and can be used for non-food items or withdrawn as cash.
They are used for illegal things and to buy bling that are not edible and for other entertainment etc
Then they complain that they have no money for rent or the electricity is subject to disconnection because they spent the TANF cash on anything but rent and utilities.

Is not Temporary, limited in time? I mean, it's not like an entitlement is it?
Don't forget ye olde Section 8 housing assistance.

I see Schumer et al repeatedly saying that this shut down is because the Republicans won't vote to open the government . . .but they have. So far the Senate has voted six oe seven times already.
But Waite! There's m ore! Rand Paul (R. KY) won't vote to open the government because the continuing resolution enshrines the trillion dollar addition to th enational debt from the Biden administration.
Meanwhile, the Pacific North West's major cities have had mostly peaceful Antifa protests every night with physical obstruction of federal law enforcement personnel and stuff burning. . . . .that is endorsed, supported and encouraged by Democrats in office at the local, State and national level. . . .and the same is going on in Chicago and New York City.
The preamble of the Constitution sets out what the purpose of the document is ment to accomplish, but the Democrats in congress and Senate don't seem to have the same vision for " . . .domestic tranquility . . ." or " . . .general welfare. . . ." or even " . . .common defense . . ." ( open borders).
In my view, ther opposition to voting in favor of the so-called clean bill continuing resolution is another effort on the part of progressive liberals to destroy the nation from within.
