So thank you to the folks who did something.

We saw all the walkout at the U.N. for Bibi and the eyes glaze over at El Trumpo rambling rant. They needed to get something done as more countries recognized Palestine, and we knew it wasn't going to be Trump controlling Gaza to develop it.

I do agree with HDGristle though.

Like most presidents who are involved in peace deals of this nature the details are always worked out by the professionals in the room. Presidents like all politicians step in at the last moment to steal the credit.

do either of you think this is happening because of the UN? because of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey?

nonsense

despite your TDS neither of you are naive enough to think the gutless spineless UN can do anything about the situation.

if they could they would have months ago.

so why didn't the UN do anything? you know why they can't do jack shit

btw i'll be taking advance orders for how the nattering naybobs of negativity would like their plate of crow served?

Sometimes you need something called a leader.

John Kennedy never did anything but suggest and lead our country to put man on the moon.

Audacious, impossible, but the seed was fertilized and grew.

No difference here, did Trump individually end the war, no, he led others to accomplish the task.

No, others did it and he swooped in to pretend he was super involved so he can try to get that Nobel prize he's still whining about.

It’s premature for any thanks at this point. Give it a year and I’ll consider it. There are a number of hoops to jump through before we can call this deal a success.

Not least the formation of a Palestinian State.

Its working so well already, Somalis would love them.

well that's the whole issue isn't? as we all know the Palestinians could have had their own state including being given Jerusalem which they didn't found the Israelis did and refused it because it also established Israel, in 1946. they have refused a state on this ground ever since and the HAMAS hardliners will never accept Israel and refuse their own nation to the suffering of their own people just to have some bullshit righteous reason to attack Evil Israel.

so if you get past the HAMAS thing, where do you put this new state? in Gaza? a city/state? with the UN for peacekeeping? might work but this could have been done decades ago. would their Arab brothers Egypt and Syria fess up some land for a larger nation? they finally should be but they've refused since 1946 so unless Egypt especially directly makes this happen.

so what could have been is now a Gaza city/state with UN peacekeeping. if Trump pulls that off you stamp that Nobel medal BIGLY

I'm hopeful that both sides of this will stick to the agreement and ceasefire. Place has been bombed to no end and all the lives of those killed - all for nothing. Not a damn thing. Frankly- I'm a sceptic on them reaching all 20 steps of the plan, but at least they have both sides considering the deal.

What's really concerning to me is that Hamas has 25 or so ppl alive and and equal amount of dead hostages, but Israel has some 2000 people; and they are gonna swap even up??!

That doesn't' sound like a great deal to me with that in mind. Releasing all 2k of those hateful fucks back to Hamas will not end well in my prediction. This will come back to haunt Israel.

What makes me the most disgusted, is seeing how many people are seemingly rooting for this peace deal to fail, just so they don’t have to admit Trump is a good President.

They’d rather innocents continue to die, than be wrong about their shitty political takes…

Pathetic.

Israelis appear to disagree with Trump not pounding this through. Not that it matters, you guys would become pro cancer if Trump found a cure. Agree with bam, rooting for continued death because you don’t like the guy responsible for peace is way past pathetic.
