Pete Hegseth was hired due to his stint at Fox, his political views, his personal loyalty to Donald Trump.
It certainly wasn’t because of his extensive managerial experience with large bureaucratic institutions, or his military education, or his extensive military experience. Because he is deficient in all those fields.

Hegseth's "good shape" has zero to do with his qualifications for this position. It is just another example of the MAGA double standard: use meritocracy as a weapon when it suits, and then completely overlook it when it also suits.
