Separatism is the advocacy of cultural, ethnic, tribal, religious, racial, regional, governmental, or gender separation from the larger group.
You understand this as much as Trump does, or is it how your news station told you that patriotism is about isolationism and nationalism and separatism; but they don't call it that- they hide behind the obfuscation of a good patriot only thinks of themselves and family and god....but FUCK everyone else on the planet.
Trump is the prime example of an isolationist with creating tariffs against (others) and demonizing anyone who isn't a citizen, calling immigrants and their home countries shitholes, and removing the relied upon immigrant workforce for a majority of farmers, homebuilders, and laborers in certain areas. If you agree with that- you're of the same ideology- an isolationist.
