Former FBI Director James Comey has been indicted by a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia.

Comey was reportedly indicted on one count of making false statements and one count of obstruction of justice for allegedly lying under oath to Congress. The 12 grand jurors reportedly declined to indict on additional charges.



While it appears Bondi and company will have a very hard time getting a conviction, it follows one of Trump's long time modus operandi...lawyer spend the offending party into submission.

And will provide months and months of distraction.

I am sure the DOJ has to be thrilled about wasting their time trying to convict this clown just because their immature vengeful boss has a hard on for the guy. Comey had to reopen it because of the NYPD. and Carlos Danger aka Anthony Weiner.
in Weiner's sexting case which was completely unrelated to Clinton the NYPD on a shared laptop between him and his wifey .. Clinton's chief of staff, found a large trove of .. emails!!!



Comey doesn't control the NYPD. they told the FBI about the emails. so if Long Shanks Comey ignores it and Clinton wins then the NYPD would say "Hey what about all those emails on Weiner's laptop?"


Comey had to reopen it if for no other reason than to claim true or not that "nothing new" was found. otherwise he gets called out by the NYPD.


the last thing Comey wanted was Trump to win.
