Watched a 1 hour documentary on sex trafficking tonight. I'm not sure if links are allowed so I won't bother. It was called "buying her" I believe. While I really try to avoid anyone even close to 18, I see inherent problems with these interactions regardless. Just the basis, the vast majority being based on a lie, of how the woman feels. One of my play partners is pretty keyed in and cautious on the subject. She's seen girls with me. My wife knows what I do, but still I can't help but think it could be done better. Any thoughts,especially from providers, on this? Not using this as a confessional or asking for justification, just interested in others perspectives.

Very true. I wasn't under the impression they had to be. The mindset of the men being interviewed is something I rarely think of. Not to make anyone the bad guy. In many ways its different, but just part of this dance we do. However, harm should be mitigated to the best of our ability.

I often have the same feeling about Asian providers and AMP's where there is a constant rotation. I can't help but feel that a lot of them are victims.

That may be true, I dont know. I would bet some do though.
I still think that if this wasn't all underground, then there wouldn't be the potential for the abuse. I also think that the "buyer" does shoulder some of the responsibility. I guess the reason for the question is what other think can be don't to cut down on the negative aspects of it. Some people's thoughts would be don't participate. While I see the reason in that I don't know if it's a feasible answer. One thing about this documentary was the tie in to porn. That was a angle I hadn't thought about before.

I won’t see an Asian provider, because I don’t want to participate in trafficking, even unknowingly. I always ask questions without being too nosy, I won’t see anyone who I feel is being coerced in any way other than she, herself, needs money.

I just don’t see them. We don’t accept fake pictures from anyone else and there photos are borrowed from porn sites.
I know some of it is to hide age, weight etc…. But what else.

Is that an opinion or do you have any source for that? A quick search of "high end escort sex trafficking" produced this article that would suggest that that is not entirely correct.

Well I think the video said something like 90 percent have pimps. I'm sure a large percentage aren't trafficked even with a pimp. But I don't think we know how many have "help" and how many don't.
