Someone taught me this trick a week or so ago: When you encounter the duplicate post glitch, go into edit mode with the second post (within the one hour edit window, of course). You will see you have the option to delete the post. Make sure you mark it for deletion in both spots that give you the option.

Voila! Duplicate post deleted!

Make sure it’s the SECOND post (ie, the duplicate) you attempt to delete. The first time I tried this I mistakenly tried to delete the first post, which didn’t include that same option (as is the case when editing most posts).

Issue is with the submit action. When you type a reply and hit "POST" or "Submit" button, system is very slow to respond. Dont doubleclick it. Wait for about 10 seconds, most likely your post is done ...but system is still slow for it to confirm it to you. Instead, click on the thread link on the top...and you will see that your reply is there.
