Just wondering

So, I am a person who spontaneously decides they have enough money to play and am in the mood. I look online and find maybe 5 providers, one of which might text me back and statistically, whichever calls me back is both over priced and demands a deposit (not referencing anyone specific, just the normal situation), which is just against my policy. This inherently causes a service gap that both providers and consumers should be willing to work together to bridge.

To that end, can anyone give a reason good enough there isn’t co-Ed connection group in which consumers can say “hey, I have this much and want X” and a provider that needs the income can respond and agree to terms?

The current model is like fishing in a polluted pond. Yeah, you fish long enough and if lucky you might catch 2-3 nice specimens that won’t cause a problem, but on the norm, your line just… “keeps hanging with no tugs”

Seems like such a simple solution.

Bubba it sounds like you need a go to girl for your needs. If your line is hanging with no tugs that is a problem and it should not be a problem. Perhaps you need to use a different bait, a bigger bait, or change spots to catch your trophy fish. Work deals with those 2-3 nice specimens as you so put it if you're wanting a specific act performed on you when you say, "hey, I have this much and want X." What you're not specifiying is the "time" you want from a provider for whatever it is you're seeking. I don't think you need a co-ed conneXXXtion group, communicate with DM's behind the scenes and provide an incentive.

If only 1 in 5 are replying back by text that's not great, 20% is horrendous, statistically. I don't know of many local women that charge a deposit however they exist but you can view rates and see if deposits are required before reaching out. If you're reaching out to ladies who are overpriced and require deposits when they call you back you're barking up the wrong tree and breaking your own policy.

It’s even skimpier here in NE Arkansas.. sites like skip the games are almost all scammers and I’ve not had any luck at all with those list crawler sites either. All scammers as far as I can tell.. Tryst ads are over inflated price wise.. as far as deposits, booking fees, or what have you… I won’t pay..early on I was scammed repeatedly by paying deposits. if we could all stick together and not pay a deposit the ladies would quickly remove that stipulation .. when I started this only a few short years ago the going price here was $200. same girls are charging $400-$600 for the same hour.. the hobby is getting crazy to be honest and I’m not sure how much longer it will be worth it to me.. I do have a few regular girls that grandfathered me it at the initial rate or i’d be gone from the game already ..good luck sir

Wyldthang that's terrible to hear that you were scammed often paying deposits in your early days. I myself have never paid a deposit. It seems like many ladies that post on Tryst on tour require deposits. As if touring ladies asking for deposits are replacing reviews when it comes to vetting a person, asking for deposits has opened up a void in which for scammers to come into the game and operate. When a person gets scammed by paying a deposit from an ad they see on Tryst they don't know if they got scammed by woman or a man or if it's someone living in a different country.

Many of these scammers are more than likely using a VPN to hide as a workaround to circumvent Tryst's security protocols when they do this and they rinse and repeat in every city they post their fake ads in using fake pictures when they scam people. When Tryst deletes a scammer account they just open up another one and I don't think Tryst can stop it. Reviews still do have a place in the hobby for staying safe even though many people have placed much faith in technology where they can be scammed. Providers should be aware that bad actors are abusing the use of deposits in fake profiles to scam people even though "real" providers are using deposits as way to possibly circumvent LE. Bottom line, if a lady is asking for a deposit and there are no reviews on her anywhere buyer beware.

Honestly, both in business and in the hobby, I usually decline hourly rates in preference to a payment per job

I won’t pay a deposit again.. I can’t think of a way to get around it.. I’ve offered to meet in a neutral place such as a somewhat crowed restaurant as they (I automatically assume scammer) state the deposit is for their safety .. no one wants to do that and no one wants to take a picture of a street sign or anything that can prove they are where they say they are.. typically I like seeing the same select girls just feels right but you know variety is spice so I do still search out new ladies from time to time..

I couldn't blame you for not paying a deposit knowing that scammers are exploiting Johns who are willing to pay the deposit. For legit ladies who ask for a deposit from their perspective they might think LE won't pay a deposit as a way of vetting and that's why they think the deposit route is the safest way to go to avoid getting arrested. It makes me wonder if they've ever been arrested or how many times they've been arrested if they're a lady asking for a deposit. Asking a provider to meet at a local restaurant to get vetted as a way of avoiding paying the deposit isn't worth it from my perspective if one has to jump thru hula hoops know matter how attractive they may appear. They only way I would meet up at a restaurant is if I met a chick on a vanilla dating site or unless I've already met her before.

Perhaps if ECCIE added a new feature when posting a new review it could ask for.... Deposit Required: Yes or No so more people can be informed about providers when it comes to staying safe in the hobby. If a deposit is required that info shouldn't be buried in the ROS, it should be made readily available so the most informed decision can be made but it still may not be 100% safe the way scammers operate the way they steal provider pictures and info to create bogus profiles.
