Not a valid defense. There's an actual matter of law here and if the Trump admin fucks up some legitimate prosecutions because of this dumb shell game, we're worse off for it

There's another point. Don't select unqualified people and try to play games with the appointments clause.
Fill the seat with someone qualified because the work is more important than partisanship. Habba has no relevant experience to begin with.

She's been fined, and scolded by many a judge for presenting cases that were frivolous and without merit; and also as an unethical lawyer...so yeah great to have her acting in the "public's interest". Essentially- she's just another push doll for DJT- and for him to try to prosecute ppl he doesn't like. But tell us again what she would be good for besides a target for Trump to beat off at- or to ogle and fondle, since clearly Melania isn't interested in touchin the orange menace.
