I really hope Elmo and DOGE find that trillion in savings to offset the $3.8 trillion in additional spending Trump plans on adding.

I mean, that's just some intentional accounting errors away from a balanced budget, right?

For sense of scale, Operation Midnight Hammer cost more than all of the DOGE gross savings combined even if we give full credit and don't back out the ridiculously high costs on a dollar for dollar basis

So let's get real about the budget, the enormous cost of the debt and how little DOGE has really done despite promises of $2 trillion in savings.

DOGE was just another word for disruption. If you create chaos everywhere, nobody is watching what the other hand is doing. The fact that this has been DJT's method of operation forever and the DNC and courts have not been able to refocus is troubling. I wonder what the true damage report will be after he's out of office,- (one way or the other -impeached or the gods of arterial schlerosis; or pulmonary vascular disease). If we have to wait till 3.5 yrs go by- i'm sure this landscape of operations and government will have change beyond all comprehension.
