So since none of those things exist in any way in DC, what was the need for intervention from the White House. I spent a week in DC last month and it was no different than being in any large city. In fact, I lived in the DC area for 12 years and its crime was no different than any big city. Crime in small cities like Shreveport (white republican mayor) is far worse. Trump is doing anything he can to redirect the narrative away from Epstein. There was no legitimate need for the deployment of military in DC. As noted by his FBI director, murder rates and violent crime are headed to historic lows without this performative silliness from the White House.

The new Russia, Russia, Russia. Epstein, Epstein, Epstein. You guys are a broken record.

I challenge anyone to respond to this: since Biden controlled the Epstein documents for four years and we know how far they would go to stop Trump, why didn't they use those documents to expose Trump?

That, is a most-excellent question!
The answer lies in the fact that Donnie's involvement was probably mostly tangential and on the periphery at best!
(There is no smoking gun to implicate Donnie!)
However, there are probably numerous smoking guns to implicate dozens of high-profile, very-important people!
Like I've said former presidents, prime ministers, princes, potentates and Hollywood celebrities ... were members of Epstein's cabal!
Namely Ehud Barak, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Lawrence Summers, Tony Blair, Prince Bin Salmin, John Kerry, David Copperfield, Woody Allen, Bill Richardson, George Mitchell ... to name a few!
Thats why ... the Biden administration swept everything under the rug!
Biden protected the well-connected members of the cabal!
That's how it really went down!

If that’s the case then why won’t El Schitzenpants release the documents. Your argument goes both ways.

Donnie, too, is probably protecting some of his buddies who were members of Epstein's cabal!
Remember, his son-in-law Jared Kushner has deep ties to Netanyahu and bin Salman!
We know Ehud Barak is up to his eyeballs in all this!
How many members of the Saudi Royal Family were also members of the cabal?
The releasing of the Epstein files is a veritable pandora's box ...and has deep-seated implications no matter which side of the aisle you sit on!

I have made this argument many times.

The Democrats are pleading for the release of these files. They will all be gathered around the Tube just waiting with glee as the names are read.

BUT…….!!!!

No Donald J Trump.

I think you have nailed it.

Yeah!
There is no smoking gun, per se, on Donnie!
It would have been leaked by deep-state operatives prior to the 2024 election!
However, the barrels are white-hot on many members of Epstein's cabal!
Especially, for the shameless, unrepentant lechers who continued to pal-around with him and visited Lolita Island after his conviction for sexual predation!
And, enjoyed sumptuous dinners at his Upper-East-Side mansion after his conviction!
(The members of the cabal who proposed toastes to him after his conviction ... have some serious explaining to do!)
Ya think?
It is the names of these reprobates that Bondi/Patel/Blanche are protecting!
And these lowlifes have connections to various people in power in Washington!
Those with the most influential connections will manage to get their names redacted!
The others, not so much!
This, is the dilemma that Bondi/Patel/Blanche are facing!
This why the files have, not yet, seen the light of day!

It's not that simple!
There's gunna be redactions, for sure!
Bondi/Patel/Blanche are deciding how to maintain a modicum of credibility in regard to the number of redactions!
The documents could be so butchered with dozens of redactions ...that it will look farcical!
It could end up ... looking like an absolute joke!
This, is what's holding up the release!
(There's probably a ton of backchanneling going on behind the scenes by various intelligence agencies ... to protect their vested interests!)

And now the usual idiotic Dems are crying that enforcing the law is "racist!!!". Denying the truth about crime while carjackings and murders happen all around them. The citizens want this as they want their streets cleaned up and the mayor won't do anything about crime.

The DC chief of police doesn't even know what "chain of command" means. About 3 minutes in.

The violent crime rate, as defined by the FBI, is higher in Washington, D.C. than Shreveport. Shreveport's homicide rate may in some years be higher, but D.C.'s is 4th highest in the the nation of large cities, or at least was in 2023.

https://usafacts.org/articles/which-...-murder-rates/

Since reconstruction (1880), Shreveport has had 27 Democratic Party mayors and three Republican mayors. One out of the last 5 Shreveport mayors was a Republican, Tom Arceneaux who has served since 2022.

For the sake of Shreveport, hopefully this is the start of a trend. Republicans are the more efficient administrators at the local level.

I don't give a rat's ass whether or not Trump uses federal agents to help police Washington, D.C. On the downside, as a taxpayer I'll have to help pay for it. On the upside, Washington D.C. is a dangerous place and probably could use the extra manpower. If I were the local politicians I'd welcome the extra help as long as the federal treasury was footing the bill. Normally I'd say let the people and elected officials of Washington, D.C. decide. But a big group of whiny politicians like AOC and Josh Hawley (Remember his power to the people salute on January 6 while running like a chicken with his head cut off?) live there too, and we wouldn't want them to come to harm.

Trump should not however, under any conditions, sidestep the Constitution, for example by deploying active duty military to police Washington, D.C.

In the Civil War, World War I, and World War II there were active duty troops maintaining order on the streets in Washington DC. The Home Rule Act of 1973 was passed with a veto proof Democrat majority in 1973. There is an emergency provision 740 which allows the president to declare an emergency and federal use the DC police. He has to inform the House in writing within 48 hours. The House has 30 days to approve by voting.

So, everything Trump has done was legal and within the bounds of the law.

The real fear of the left is not dictatorship, it is that like the border, Trump can fix crime. According to social workers, most crime is committed by a few people. When Trump locks up that 5-10% crime will go down and liberal heads will explode.

Tiny, is this 2023? Or should the use of current crime rates be used, since this is an “emergency”?
