I looked at this link-

Us energy institute- and it's interesting on the averages- yet they do not validate what Salty is saying- not 4 yrs of lowest- but rather the lowest in 3 yrs.
I went over to gas buddy and damn- the price fluctuation across the state is huge- I mean 3.65 in Murrysville, 3.59 in east Hills areas, (Irwin is high), but places like Lewisburg is low. 2.87! That's absurd that there is a discrepancy that large across a mere 75 miles. I wonder how many mongers use the gasbuddy app to get info before fill ups vs. just using your local place?
Another reason to upgrade your ride to hybrid's if you aren't driving a sport car or truck, and if you are driving less than 300 miles, perhaps one of them electro cars. I wouldn't have recommended the Tesla brand due to proprietary costs on repairs, but they likely all have some "only here" costs depending on the manufacturer. I'd say the good thing with a Tesla is the dedicated charging systems for them, and the automatic updates that happen. I can't help but think of I robot, and Will Smith having to battle one of those vehicles when the wrong programming is sent over the airwaves. Sentient AI could spell a lot of problems at some point.
