TDLR and local LE (including Lewisville) are investigating more than just Morriss. With the increased pressure from ICE and recent social media popularity of “tuggies” and Karen’s documenting mongers at AMPs, it is not a good time to be a hobbyist or a shop owner/worker. Business is slow everywhere. The undocumented hispanic mongers are way down in numbers for fear of getting caught. The Caucasian and Indian mongers are even less than usual. No shop is safe right now. Question is, is it worth the risk for your nut?

A buddy of mine (and his wife) own a massage place. All Asian therapists. I was talking to him about all these closures and TDLR working with local LE. The ME (Massage Establishment) license is renewed every 2 years. He said the previous 3-4 times, he got an unannounced “drop-in” inspection by TDLR about 30-60 days before renewal. . This spring, there was no inspection at all… they just processed the renewal. With that said, they have lots of 5 star google reviews from women and couples. He said customers are about 65% female. He says they are 100% legit place but even he was surprised there was no inspection.
Maybe TDLR spending resources on places with red flags. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.
