Do you even realize how racist you sound?
JJ is European, Mexican and Filipino. His wife appears to be Caucasian and they have 2 daughters and you slander him? Would you say the same if he were African American or from Palestine?
I would recommend some self-reflection and maybe apologize to JJ.
JJ has really turned his game around due to the help of a new short game coach despite how you perceive him.

Slander? Lol. Calling someone a "pip squeak" is racist slander now? What planet are you posting from?

You have to engage in a sport to comment on a thread? Interesting. Makes other sports threads around here seem suspect, at best.

I’d rather watch the US Open at Oakmont than watch Flies fuck. Tommy, according to him, prefers the latter. As the saying goes, “to each his own.”

Actually, it's according to the late, great George Carlin

You posted it. So you agree. But you’re not Carlin, or JJ Spaun. They reached the heights of their professions. What Spaun accomplished at Oakmont is historic.

No, but most of us refrain from commenting on those sports we find boring and are unfamiliar with.
Most of us try to focus on those topics we know something about.

The thread was about the US Open at historic Oakmont. You haven’t provided one post regarding the thread topic.

Every post I've made here is on the topic of the US Open, the tournament's winner, and how boring I find it. Sorry if I'm bumming you out, but I'm not off topic.

Carlins fly fucking comment had nothing to do with Oakmont or the US Open. Neither did your churlish insults about JJ Spaun. The most prestigious golf tournament in the world, held in our back yard. Oakmont should inspire better posts. You didn’t “bum me out”, or suprise me. But Oakmont is going to host the US Open going well into the future. It’s a Pittsburgh gem and future generations will be able to appreciate it.

I know. The Open will be back at Oakmont in '33.
I still won't care.

How hard were the greens at Oakmont?
There were 238 three-putts at The Masters. Home to some of the fastest, most undulating greens on earth.
There were 536 at Oakmont...
And the greens were slowed by rain!!!!!!

... That's the point all our other mates are tryin' to make.
WHY are you commenting IF you don't fancy the thread topic??
However, I surely agree with you that "pip-squeak"
IS NOT a racial comment...
... Oakmont (and the weather) surely did stow the
great golfers all-about, though...
... Annie Dundee - a pretty-bird Aussie golfer
once told me - "Golf! It's surely a hard-knock life" ...
