one leg went bad as Frontier want ta dig up yard again to replace fibers conduit That they lied to me and the paper work was for down street. Well they put it everywhere I said NO. So now when lawn is cut a few fibers will stop working. Then flex back and work. They wanted to start over. I said No you can replace fibers in conduit that is there now that by law should not be there. But no new conduit here.. My complainants of Frontier span 6 years LOL Cops tired of coming here keeping Frontier from digging here again .

I have AT&T fiber and the lawn service for my neighbors decided that they needed to take the top off of the junction box to whack the weeds around it. They did an awesome job slicing right through my fiber. But to their credit, AT&T was on site with a fix within 4 hours.

Back when I was at a telco, we used to buy turkeys for turkey day for various sheriff depts.
That paid off several times.

Btw, every railroad track most everywhere has a few major fiber cables planted alongside the tracks.
Sometimes gas or water pipelines also.
