Maybe she just wants to be more central that what she perceives the left to be. I wouldn't blame anyone for moving away from either party's extreme, but the Dems have a perception issue- no doubt.

Republicans have the "we dont' care what the fuck you think" attitude-- and while it has an adoloscent appeal, it's also pretty much guaranteeing they will see a lot of losses in the next election cycle.

Sure seems like both parties are showing how corrupt they are with tax breaks for special interests etc.; and it's insane that it's allowed.
