It’s been losing its buying power the minute Nixon took us off the gold standard. The Fed and the IRS have been robbing us blind for decades. Not to mention members of Congress, who somehow become millionaires once they get there. Not Trump. Your TDS is showing. It didn’t take long. Anyways, China’s economy is weak right now. Fair trade is always the goal, politicians all get rich in office and your not Trump is way off mark, he’s made a fortune selling off his wares, loading up w crypto and and issuing his own memes for foreign dignitaries/countries to purchase. As far as taxes keeping up w spending w deficit? How can it w tax cuts for the rich every time someone turns around, the big beautiful tax bill will cost the avg citizen 11k per deficit so a family of 4 making 50-100k yr will save approx 500-1400 a year while costing them 44k. People under 50k actually will save Pennie’s while many losing healthcare or falling behind as going to work is an actual pay cut / living worse off that sitting lazy ass in the couch. Thank god the the rich are going to save well over that 11k cost per person many times over.

Sad thing is many will spend 3 bucks extra in gas and time to save a nickel at the pumps…thinking they really got a deal.

If the real reason for this so called big beautiful tax bill was to create growth, how about a simple 10k credit to all taxpayers no matter what they make? It’s as equal to everyone as one can get, it’ll also get people off the couches. I do agree w the work for able bodies to receive benefits. Covid checks went to everyone, the GDP growth was outstanding as the poorer-middle class bought actual products and services vs the rich socking it in the market.

10k rich or poor, can’t get fairer than that.

Very rarely am I in aw of consistently wrong and made up responses but here we are.

Nobody on MAGA wants to pay more for anything. But MAGA does see tariffs as a means to either get better trade agreements or manufacturing moved to onshore. Neither is a hard concept to understand for most. Does it meet your timing of instant gratification? Probably not, but be a little more strategic.

As far as who is in a cult? Would be a great new thread. Cogent, sharp as a tack and other things come to mind as things the left believed and embraced despite what your eyes told you. That is a cult.
