There was a moth flying through the darkness
Satisfied to explore the depths of the night
Drawn higher by the stars and the moon
Flying free, it followed its intuition
Then the moth saw a light on the ground
It was bright, but distant
As it approached it could see it flickering and dancing
The moth was fixed on it, bewitched, fascinated
Closer still and it could feel the heat
A roaring and roiling God tower of brilliant death
The temperature grew sharp and the moth knew
It was facing its own end, flying towards the termination point
It tried to reel away, now suddenly divided
One instinct yelling no and one yelling yes
The latter far too ancient and strong
A blind and primal beast that made the blaze seem oh so sweet
Right as it made contact, a bright flash!
And the moth was ashes
And all ashes look the same
