Calling everything everywhere all at once a threat, though, is also not helpful, which is at the center of this latest hysteria.

It's the way Trump operates. Trump's paranoia is unfathomable, which is why his followers are calling for James Comey's head on a pike. Victimizing himself (and his followers) is something he's done his whole public career. And reminiscent of others who rose to power.

That’s a big steaming load of nonsense. No one that I know, and I know quite a few lefties, are encouraging violence against anyone. We’re just not keeping silent about what we see as violations of the rules of law against those that oppose Trump and his policies.

The violent rhetoric against James Comey is a perfect example. Comey posts an innocuous photo of some seashells in the shape of some numbers and the right wing nutters go crazy, which causes the right wing media to go crazy, which causes the right wing politicians to go crazy.

^ Comey claimed he didn’t know….lol. And there are several leftist videos over the years of Warren, Maxine W, Biden (under the bleachers or after school) to fight Trump, overthrow, and/or destroy 47’s residence (back when he was 45 but I’m sure some could be found in the past 5 months).

Key point is tone down the rhetoric and don’t make such threats in the first place. Comey has been visited by the secret service a couple times.
