Welp, we have a framework that will be fully fleshed out later.
I would say I'm underwhelmed, but it's about what was expected. Which is underwhelming.
Certainly not the full and comprehensive deal he bloviated about.

Ah, Mr Gristle, these deals are complex. A month is pretty quick. Sorry Bro, you’re on the wrong side of history…….again.

I know they are. I'm not the one who announced a framework as a full and comprehensive trade deal.
That would be Tariffman. Thanks, though. I love the energy.

Then why are you bitching that it took 30 days? But that’s all you got. Thanks for playing.

what is so telling on these deals is how the ppl involved such as the UK PM, was literally saying how important TRUMP was to these deals and Lutnick praising Trump for all his superior abilities, yet the guy has nothing when it's in public regarding his negotiating skills. I get that all nations want or should want to do business, but the near felating of Trumps abilities are not only over the top by the ppl who are in public, they are likened to the overexageration posed by many a fisherman who caught one "This BIG". It literally causes eye rolls and gaffaws by everyone who listens. I'd love to think Trump was good for something- but the art of the deal is literally a total bullshit concoction of malarky. Bigly.

So, you’re calling other world leaders liars. If you say so.

Because Tariffman said he has a full and comprehensive deal. Which was a lie. He just needed to trot out something. It even caught the Brits by surprise that he wanted to announce this.
I get that he's tired of being asked when he's gonna get deals signed. This won't stop that.
This is a concept of a deal. But hey, forward progress, right?

Stocks rose Thursday after President Trump announced a new trade agreement with the United Kingdom.
The S&P 500 gained 55 points, or 1%, to 5,686, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 408 points, or 1%, to 41,523. The Nasdaq Composite also made gains, rising 1.3%.
Mr. Trump announced the trade deal with the United Kingdom Thursday morning from the Oval Office, saying it will include "billions of dollars of increased market access for American exports, especially in agriculture." He added that the U.K. will eliminate non-tariff barriers that "unfairly discriminated against American products."

Trump hails unfinished trade deal with UK
Trump and Starmer emphasized that the trade deal is not finalized.
President Donald Trump on Thursday announced a trade deal with the United Kingdom -- the first in what the White House said it hopes will be a flurry of agreements while the reciprocal tariff pause is in effect. With UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on speaker phone in the Oval Office, the leaders conceded that they are still working out the details of the agreement.

They've got a deal. A great deal. Some might say the best. And when it's finished they tell me it will be the best.
Markets are looking for reasons to pop, so they'll pop on forward progress. Sadly, the deal is a dud for the moment
