Who was running on the Dem ticket on Nov 7th?
I'll give you a hint- it wasn't Biden.
The transition of that happened in the run-up to the GE. If your complaining that incumbent Biden got some "look-past" coverage, it's because he was not the focus of the Party or the news cycles outside of FOX who wanted to complain that the party didn't go through the standard primary - but alas did support the campaign of HARRIS. Now- if we were to really look at where the gaff was, it was likely on her part of not asking for PA governor Shapiro to be on the ticket. I'd say that didnt' get news coverage either for the same purpose- it wasn't salient to the cycle as Shapiro either declined or wasn't asked.
That said- your guy is sleeping as much or more than Joe did on his last time in office- Trump has his senior moments just like the he did in the last 45 administration- and will get the jokes and jabs of his senility coming on shortly. There is no shortage of news coverage that shows any party's guy/ gal in a less than flattering light. Some are just easier marks than others. Just saying.
