Crockett might be living out a fantasy. Obviously she was not brought up in the “Hip Hop/Gangsta Rap” culture, but like many, long for the thing that her parents shielded her from.

If you were to listen to Crockett speak at congressional hearings in Jan 2025, she spoke perfect English. It was when Congresswoman MTG insulted her during a different congressional hearing that she went "Gangsta" on MTG with the "Bad Butch Body" comment.
Crockett generally does not speak with an inner city dialect during Congressional hearings. When MTG insulted Crockett during a hearing Crockett fought back with the "bad butch body comment".
