My position in all this is not to be unhappy that ome person thinks they are really someone else. They need our compassion and support.

I am opposed to the imposition of their dysphoria on me and my family. Minor b y comparison but exactly parallel as an example is the effect of peanut allergy in our schools.

My grandkids cannot bring a PeanutButter and jelly sandwich to school for lunch on the off chanch thatg some other unfortunate child wikll go into anaphylaxes just from the aoma of peanuts.

My grandchldren do not have a health problem, but some other student might. Based on that, my grands are being deprived of what should be a signature part of childhood.

The kid with the health problem is not affected in any way. They are not treated for their allergy, that may not be possible, nor are they isolated physically or through masking etc. Only those without a health issue are affected.

So, here we have a person who doesn't feel happy about who they are. The LGBTQ lobby insist that we make major accomodations for these feelings. accomodatinos that directly offend people at the peer level. Parents of sub-adults and the life partners of mature people who are adversly effected by the demanded accommodations are n ow being held to be the true offenders by the LGBTQ advocates and activists. That is crazy.

Again: It is not actually those diagnosed with gender dysphoria that are disrupting society so much as it is those who insist on unreasonable accomodations.

In 2023, NCAA President Charlie Baker said he was aware of fewer than 10 transgender athletes among more than 500,000 NCAA athletes. Texas has reported 505 confirmed cases of measles. Yssup may just be right!

Actually I misstated the fact in my previous post. Apologies. There are more measles cases in West Texas than trans athletes in college women’s sports. The number I saw was 9.

According to MSN, over 900 prizes, awards, or titles have been taken by trans athletes over women. Attached to those are money prizes, scholarships, and endorsement deals. We can go on about the women injured in direction competition with men or the humiliation of a young woman who trained her entire life for that moment when is beaten easily by a man with boobs. You want to talk about the mental health (acknowledging that there is a mental health component) of the trans athlete but never consider the health of the woman.
