The new Dillion 503D Gatling gun, that's in final testing.
Firing rate up to 1,500 rounds per minute.
Effective range 1800m
When throwing tracers it's like you're in hell.
Electric drive and can be mounted on air, land, and sea craft.
The mock up was first presented at the 2020 Vegas gun show.
This is the next gen step up from the widely used M134 that's been around since the early 60s that throws 7.62mms.
Don't need it for coyotes though.

Looks like fun, but I don't want to give up my 401K for 15 seconds of pure fun. I say 15 seconds because that's enough time to enjoy the weapon. Barely.

Until it was mentioned here I had never heard of or seen a moon clip. After reading about them here, I was intrigued. So I opened up the new box of the S and W 627 (8 round .357 revolver) and was checking it out and there in a plastic bag were 3 moon clips.
So I opened up the box, got some bullets and tried to make them fit and work. No luck. So I tried watching a couple of youtube videos, then tried to 'roll' in the bullets, but it still wouldn't fit properly. Finally I gave up on them and went with this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007JL4J1Y...fed_asin_title

The first thing to go will be these hideous rubber pistol grips. They will be replaced with something more traditional in wood. I did the same with my Colt Anaconda, and it looks a lot better.

Because the S and W holds 8 rounds of .357 in a revolver versus the 6 rounds of .357 in the Python, the Smith wins this battle big time. As far as pure beauty goes, the Colt wins this one in a walk.
Now using the same exact ammo, same distance, same type of target, same shooter, the winner in a big way is the........................... ...Smith and Wesson. It wasn't even close, and I'm nowhere near being brand loyal. For the record, I got the same type of results with the Colt Anaconda vs. the Smith and Wesson model 29, both .44 magnum. Colt Anaconda is a beautiful weapon, but the Smith is far more accurate.

Yes they are. They're a bitch to load and unload, however all 8 bullets went straight in and was real easy to use.

I still miss the pair of S&W Model 10 38 specials that my ex took (I got everything else) But she was pretty good with those.
This 8 shot being discussed causes memories of emptying both of the 10s together using both hands.

OK, so I took both moonclips home (8 rounds of .357), tried loading in the bullets, gave up then threw them away. So 12 hours later, I tried again and got both loaded up, however some bullets were in at an angle and the whole moon clip wouldn't go in. I'm done with moon clips and I even considered buying in a loading and unloading moon loader set up amazon and said screw it.
My regular speed loader works just fine.
