Please read and be educated about the truth behind rodeos
Many animal welfare organizations view rodeos as inherently cruel to animals due to the stress, potential for injury, and unnatural behaviors forced upon them, including the use of prods, bucking straps, and other practices.
Here's a more detailed look at the arguments against rodeos:
Animal Welfare Concerns:
Stress and Trauma:
Rodeos inherently involve stressful situations for animals, including being forced to perform unnatural behaviors, being transported long distances, and being confined.
Injuries:
Animals can suffer injuries during rodeo events, including broken legs, necks, and other trauma, as well as injuries from practices like roping and steer wrestling.
Unnatural Behaviors:
Rodeos force animals to engage in behaviors that are not natural to them, such as bucking and running at high speeds.
Specific Practices:
Bucking straps: These straps, designed to cause discomfort and encourage bucking, are seen as a cruel practice.
Electric prods: The use of electric prods to encourage animals to perform is considered a cruel practice by many organizations.
Roping and steer wrestling: These events put animals at high risk of injury or death.
Transport: Animals are often transported long distances in hot and overcrowded trucks and trailers, sometimes without being fed or watered, which causes them stress and can lead to injuries.
Practice:
Animals are often subjected to stressful and potentially harmful practices during training for rodeo events.
Organizations that object to Rodeos:
ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals):
The ASPCA opposes all rodeo events that involve cruel, painful, stressful, and potentially harmful treatment of animals.
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals):
PETA objects to the use of electric prods and devices such as bucking straps, and views rodeos as "taking animals that are normally tame, docile animals and then provoking them ... to be fierce and aggressive".
Humane Society Veterinary Medical Association (HSVMA):
The HSVMA opposes rodeos due to the inherent cruelty to animals involved.
Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF):
The ALDF highlights the lack of protection for animals in rodeos, as the federal Animal Welfare Act exempts rodeos from its protections.

gee, THANKS .........I guess
here....your bleeding heart is conflicted....do you choose the convicted felons or the bulls to save? https://www.youtube.com/shorts/MS_WYXlVqhU
I went to the rodeo with my sis the first year I moved here - it wasn't my idea...but we had to leave because I kept crying over the animals -specifically the baby goats at the petting zoo that were clearly very distressed - however it was all terrible
Some of the best cared for and valuable animals.
Most better cared for than household pets.
Question for all....
Who does not eat meat?
I hear Whataburger is full of meat.
Side note. In my book if you feed your dog regular dog food you are shortening it's life. Dead diseased animals and all of their bad body parts are ingredients.
That's considered animal abuse.
I hand make my baby's food and I also sell it.
It's name is Lily's gourmet kibble.

Very sorry
Thanks for sharing
I advise not to go behind scenes at a rodeo.
From the bible:
Genesis 1:28
God blessed humanity and commanded them to "be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth"
Genesis 2:15
The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it
Genesis 9:3-4
Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
Genesis 9:26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Genesis 9:28
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
James 3:7
All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind,

0.20 nice and calm being bored waiting for the game to start
1.08 I won, I won, let’s go get my win snack
1:32 I won again, let’s go get another win snack
1:42 I got a 47 (out of 50) let’s see the other bulls match me on that
1:56, Ha I see him flying, I’ll go the other way to not step on him.
2:02 watching the other games, can any other bull break my record? When’s my turn again?
2:12 Oh damn, the gal is blocking the TV camera from taking my picture.
3:32 Damn they caught us comparing notes on how to teach cowboys to fly.
4:11 Another win for a 47.
4:15 OK I won, let’s just mosey over to the dinner table, and out he goes.
Narrator comment: This is what they are trained to do.
4:48 Watch the safety guy point for the bull to follow directions.
Narrator comment: Again, trained to follow directions
4:56 Well I won, where’s my reward dinner?
5:45 When am I up again? Sigh, I’ll take a nap.
6:20 Well damn I lost.
6:23 I’ll just go get my exercise snack anyway
6:59 Where’s my snack? I get one anyway right?
Ok, enough of my commentary, just watch the bulls. After the toss (flying cowboy) do not the bulls actually follow the directions of the safety guys, just go out the exit chute and calm down? This is a game for them. Teach the cowboys to fly, go out the exit, and get a food reward.
Alternate view:
Watch the safety guys telling the bull what to do. Specifically watch the safety guys playing tag with the bulls head/nose, in addition to pointing to get the bull to follow directions to the exit. We teach the critters this game of tag starting a few weeks after being born. Last, specifically note how quickly the critters head for the exit and their food reward once the flying lesson game is over.
OK enough of the 2024 winner of the $100,000 award, but he does kiss the camera at 17:38.
Seriously the critters just think it’s a game.
The animals don't know its a game.
They are terrified . And for what?
Pts to win money. Then when no longer useful they are quickly discarded.
Bs! Grew up in the country. I'm around animals ever day. Sell that to others that don't know!
Shall I go into the very sad and horrific business of horse shows and racing? The injuries and high cases of having to put horses down. It's criminal and widely known for its cruelty!
The meat aspect.
Feeding the precious humans for sustenance vs unnecessary animal cruelty for sport and money holds no sand!
Get another, newer argument.
^^ Coming from a person that believes in abortion and population control which is murder, Can the biggest hipocrite get an award.
Please have a meltdown on my behalf.
